Social events are an important part of our life together. We organize regular hikes, book groups, other events, and a shared meal after the service on the first Sunday of every month. Details will appear in the calendar below.
Reading group
Our Book Group meets six or seven times a year, currently online. We have read a great variety of books, from classics like North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell and The Woodlanders by Thomas Hardy to modern prize-winning novels An American Marriage by Tayari Jones and The Cut Out Girl by Bart Van Es and everything in between. Our discussions are lively and wide-ranging and we occasionally manage to keep to discussing the book without getting side tracked!
Walking group
Covid-permitting, we hope to resume our hikes very soon. There are more albums of photos from many past hikes and trips on our Facebook group.
